It outlines pricing, payment, deposit, cancellation, and rescheduling terms. Our financial policy reflects our busy schedule and high demand for appointments.
Pricing and Estimates 2.1 The in-clinic doctor consultation fee is €150. An aesthetic nurse consultation fee is €50. Credit card details are required to secure an appointment. If you do not attend for your scheduled consultation, the consultation fee will be processed. 2.2 Upon consultation, Venus Medical will provide a written price estimate for any proposed treatment or procedure. 2.3 The quoted price is valid for 30 days from the date it is issued. After this period, prices may be adjusted to reflect current fee schedules.
Price Validity and Confirmation 3.1 To confirm a scheduled treatment or procedure, the patient must pay a deposit as described below. 3.2. Scheduling of the procedure date is only secured once the required deposit (50% of the total price) has been received by Venus Medical.
Deposit and Balance 4.1. A deposit equal to 50% of the total treatment or procedure cost is required to secure the booking. 4.2. The remaining 50% balance is due in full on the day of the procedure, prior to beginning any services. Deposits are non-refundable.
Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy 5.1 Cancellations or changes made more than 7 days prior to the scheduled procedure date: The patient’s 50% deposit may be retained as a credit toward a future treatment or procedure at Venus Medical. 5.2 Cancellations or changes made between 7 days and 48 hours prior to the scheduled procedure date: The patient will forfeit 50% of the original deposit. The remaining 50% may be applied as credit toward the same or a different procedure at Venus Medical, subject to suitability and availability. 5.3 Cancellations or changes made less than 48 hours prior to the scheduled procedure date: The full deposit is forfeited and cannot be applied as credit or refunded.
Medical Exceptions 6.1. If a patient provides a valid medical certificate from a licensed physician indicating unfitness for the scheduled procedure (e.g., acute illness), Venus Medical will honour the deposit as a credit toward a future procedure, provided this certificate and explanation is received at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled procedure or treatment. 6.2. Even with a medical exception, the patient must notify Venus Medical at least 48 hours in advance of the scheduled date to arrange rescheduling or credit application. SmokingCessation Requirement — Face & Neck Lift Procedures/Gynaecomastia/ Blepharoplasty 9.1 Purpose Smoking (including vaping and any nicotinecontaining products) markedly increases the risk of woundhealing problems, skinedge necrosis, infection, and anaesthetic complications in face and necklift surgery. This clause protects patient safety and the integrity of surgical outcomes. 9.2 Mandatory Period of Abstinence The patient must refrain completely from all forms of smoking, vaping, or nicotine use for a minimum of six (6) consecutive weeks immediately prior to the scheduled procedure date and remain nicotinefree for six (6) weeks after the procedure. 9.3 Certification of Compliance a. The patient must submit a signed written declaration of nicotine abstinence no later than seven (7) calendar days before surgery. b. Venus Medical reserves the right to request objective verification (e.g., negative urinary or salivary cotinine test) on the day of surgery and/or during followup. c. Failure to provide the declaration or a positive cotinine test constitutes noncompliance. 9.4 Consequences of NonCompliance If the patient is found to have smoked, vaped, used nicotine, or fails to provide the declaration/test result: i. Procedure Cancellation: The surgery will be cancelled immediately in the interest of patient safety. ii. Deposit Forfeiture: Fifty per cent (50 %) of the deposit is forfeited as a nonrefundable fee to cover clinical, theatre, and scheduling costs. iii. Remaining Deposit Credit: Provided the discovery of nicotine use or non-compliance is more than 48 hours before the scheduled procedure, the remaining fifty per cent (50 %) will be held as a onetime credit that may be applied toward rescheduling the same procedure once the patient documents six (6) full weeks of verified nicotine abstinence. Rescheduling is subject to surgeon availability and the prevailing fee schedule. iv. Full Deposit Forfeiture: If discovery of nicotine use or non-compliance is less than 48 hours before the scheduled procedure, the full deposit is forfeited and non-refundable and cannot be used as credit. iv. No Credit for Repeat NonCompliance: Where credit of the deposit was granted, a second violation results in full forfeiture of all monies paid.
